ahead of Manchester City's
Champions League home clash
with Borussia Dortmund.
The City manager wants to atone
for failing to make it
past the group stage last season
and has also set his sights on
winning the competition.
"I hope that I can improve my
record in the Champions League,"
he said.
"I think that we've arrived at the

City, who won the Premier League
under Mancini last season, are
grouped with Real
Madrid, Ajax and Dortmund.

Mancini said.
"If we want to go through, we

Wednesday's opponents
Dortmund, who beat Ajax at
home in their opening match, are
also hopeful of advancing
to the knockout phase after
missing a berth last season.
"Dortmund are a fantastic team.
